Take Charge of Your Life; Manage Your Money

The Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO) offers free financial education to help you learn to manage your finances, secure a stable job, and become independent. Our programs can help you set and achieve your financial goals, and focus on building new habits that will improve your life.

With our team you will work on creating a positive vision for your future. By building a long-term relationship, providing resources and working with other local agencies, we can give you the tools and skills you need to succeed.

The Financial Resource Center provides education in:

· Income and Budgeting: Teaching you budget planning and money-saving resources

· Banks: Connecting you with banking services, such as “second chance” accounts

· Credit Review: Helping you access and review your credit report

· Credit Improvement: Working with you to repair your credit

· Taxes: On site tax preparation of basic tax returns

· Savings: Teaching you how to plan for retirement, manage investments and build emergency savings

· Building Wealth: Coaching you on money-saving and money-making habits that will help you build wealth

· Education: Helping you save for school
